Discovery Flight School is excited to be working with Tecnam as we transition our entire training fleet to a modern, standardized aircraft platform. All single-engine training will be conducted in the Tecnam P-Mentor, an advanced IFR-capable trainer designed to support students from their earliest lessons through instrument and commercial training. Multi-engine students will train in the Tecnam P2006T, a purpose-built complex twin featuring retractable landing gear, constant-speed propellers, and sophisticated glass-cockpit avionics. By standardizing our fleet around Tecnam aircraft, we are able to provide students with a consistent, premium training experience that develops strong aircraft management skills, familiarity with modern avionics, and the professional operating discipline needed to succeed in today's aviation industry.
Discovery Flight School is proud to partner with Sun Crest Pilot Selection, an independent pilot assessment and recruitment organization that has thoroughly evaluated our training programs and associated syllabi, and they have selected our school for preferred access to the pilot-selection process of the Sun Crest Pilot Network. Sun Crest has integrated its standardized assessment process into our training syllabus, allowing every Discovery Flight School student to graduate with a comprehensive pilot profile that evaluates knowledge, judgment, professionalism, crew coordination, and overall operational readiness. While the Sun Crest Pilot Network is free for qualified pilots to join, participation in the formal assessment and final operator referral process is by invitation only. Students who successfully complete an eligible Discovery Flight School training program receive immediate consideration for applicable employment opportunities within Sun Crest's network of Part 135 and Part 91 operators. This partnership also provides Discovery Flight School with valuable third-party feedback regarding common areas of pilot weakness, helping us continually strengthen our curriculum, refine our training standards, and better prepare students for the expectations of professional aviation. It is another example of how Discovery Flight School goes beyond traditional flight training to create a more direct and deliberate path from the classroom and cockpit to a professional flying career.
Discovery Flight School partners with Stratus Financial to offer qualified students full financing options for all of our flight training programs, helping make professional flight training more accessible and financially manageable. Before approving Discovery Flight School for its lending partnership, Stratus reviewed our training syllabi, program structure, and student progression model to ensure our programs provide a clear and organized path toward completion. Their approval reflects confidence in our ability to help students remain on track, complete training on schedule, and manage their training investment within a defined budget. Through this partnership, students can pursue a structured professional pilot program with financing support designed specifically for aviation education—allowing you to focus more fully on your training and long-term career goals.
Discovery Flight School participates in the Sporty's Dealer Program, allowing us to offer our students discounted pricing on select training materials, pilot supplies, and aviation equipment purchased through Sporty's Pilot Shop. Rather than adding a markup or using the program as an additional source of revenue, Discovery Flight School passes the available dealer savings directly to our students.
